Backpack Program

Are you interested in participating in a new program called the BackPack Program? This program is a partnership between Kindred School District, the Great Plains Food Bank, the Kindred Area Food Pantry, and the Kindred Area Ministerial Association (KAMA).

The BackPack Program will provide a backpack full of kid-friendly, shelf stable food for your child to take home and eat over the weekend. They’ll receive foods like cereal, pudding, soup, fruit, granola bars, snacks and other items. With your approval we will send a bag of food home with your child every Friday for the remainder of the school year.

Please know that there is no charge for this program; it's entirely funded through grants and private donations.
